The Ouzoud waterfalls are located 160 kilometers from Marrakech in the middle Atlas section near Azilal province in M’goun Geopark.
The Ouzoud cascades are a popular tourist attraction and are recommended for one-day trips from Marrakech.
The highest waterfalls in Morocco (approximately 110m) are less than three hours’ drive from Marrakech.
You will be picked up at 8 a.m from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech by one of our staff. We will pass several small towns and villages.
Along the way, you will see the monkeys and even greet them, as they are not as shy as you might expect.
Once we reach the waterfalls, you will have a chance to be shown some of the best features of this area, allowing you to go on a breathtaking walk (bring walking shoes or baskets) to enjoy the cascades surrounded by the green fields.
You can have lunch at your leisure at one of the cafes serving a delicious lunch location next to the creek, admiring views of the waterfalls.
Ouzoud Falls is a popular site for Moroccans too, especially in the summer, as it is a perfect place for a refreshing swim (bring your swimming suits). It may be crowded during the weekends.
Your day trip will end in the afternoon. We will drive back to Marrakech the same scenic way we came and return at some time in the early evening, around 6 or 7 p.m.
