With the personalized service of a private guide, you’ll experience Morocco at your own pace traveling in an Air conditioning Minivan or Minibus vehicle.

Day 1

Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast in your Riad or Hotel, our private tour begins with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains stopping to visit the village Ifrane, where we’ll get a chance to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Berber apes. 

We’ll then continue through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge (here we can stop for pictures and some local mint tea) to Midelt.

Our drive proceeds across the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani; an oasis.

Once we arrive at the Erg Chebbi desert dunes, we’ll ride our camels towards our Berber desert camp. 
Upon arrival there we’ll be served a complimentary traditional dinner, and enjoy some music around a campfire under the star and moonlit desert sky.

Day 2

Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Dades Valley 

We’ll fetch an early start to catch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert, and then return on camel back to the village. 

From there, we’ll leave for Tinghir, to reach the Todra Gorge, which is the highest, narrowest gorge in Morocco. 

Here we may stop to hike within the valley, and after lunch in the gorge we will continue on to the Dades Gorge, where we’ll enjoy sand castles and also geological features called “Monkey toes/feet”. We’ll spend the night in the Dades Gorge, at a local standard Hotel which will include a complimentary dinner and breakfast.

Day 3

Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast at Dades Hotel, we’ll drive towards Marrakech passing through the route of a thousand Kasbahs (fortresses). 

We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna; the center of The Valley of Roses, and famous rose plantation. 

Visit one of the rose growers’ cooperatives and discover how the workers mix distilled rose water to create scents.

Continue your drive to Ouarzazate, and meet your local guide to introduce you the UNESCO listed Kasbah Ait ben Haddou and the history behind it as well as the art it serves. 

we’ll stop for a stretch and lunch at a local restaurant, then, we’ll take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains, where Berbers have been living for centuries. 

You’ll arrive back in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 1

Marrakech– Tizi-N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

Our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech around ~7:30 am and take you to the departure point in the main square, Jamaa El Fna.

Departure around 7:45 am, crossing the High Atlas mountains and Col Tichka at 2260m, visiting the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and having lunch at Ouarzazate. You will traverse the Skoura oasis, Kalaat M’gouna, and the Valley of Roses to reach the Dadès Valley.

Stay the night in a hotel in Dadès on half board (dinner and breakfast the next day included).

Day 2

Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast at your hotel, leave the gorges of Dades for Erg Chebbi, at the gateway to the Sahara desert. See the Berber villages scattered along the way; have lunch at one of the roadside restaurants; and pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud to get a sense of the Saharan landscape. See the oasis of Tafilalet before your arrival in Merzouga. Break to relax in Merzouga for a few moments. As the sun sets, we climb on the back of a camel for 1 hour and 30 minutes and cross the sand dunes en route to a nomadic Berber camp. See the sand dunes and the desert landscape from a timeless perspective as you listen to the camp drums in the desert in the middle of the Sahara.

Take photos of the breathtaking sunset from the top of a high dune. Then, go to camp to enjoy the night in a nomad camp with a bonfire and berber music dance, resting under the starry sky, before you fall asleep. (dinner and breakfast the next day included)

Day 3

Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early for continental breakfast at the Berber camp, then watch the sun rise over the dunes. Riding your camel back to the Merzouga meeting place. 

Pick up the rest of your luggage and return to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, stopping for lunch at a roadside restaurant before arriving around 20:00.

Wake up in the early morning for a continental breakfast at the camp, then watch the sunrise over the dunes. Ride your camel back to Merzouga meeting point, get study for a fresh day. Start far away from Merzouga on your way to Fes, where you change the driver but never change the performance. Before you knock on Fes, a time off will be necessary to smooth the transition to the new van.

The driving road is to cross the Ziz Vlley through Errachidia or Ighrem n Ulzuz, meaning Ksar Essouk, to stop Midelt to feed your travel soul’s hungry belly before driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains and the gems of the pine woods, i.e., Imouzzar and Ifran, known in Morocco as “Little Switzerland.”.

We reach Fes around 18:00 p.m.

Leave the Dades Canyon and head toward Erg Chebbi, the entry point to the Sahara desert, after eating breakfast at your hotel. Get a sense of the Saharan terrain by traveling through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud and seeing the Berber villages strewn along the route. Upon arriving in Merzouga, visit the Tafilalet oasis. Take a brief break to unwind in Merzouga. Our journey to a nomadic Berber camp involves riding a camel for one hour and thirty minutes as the sun sets and crossing sand dunes. Listen to the camp drums in the middle of the Sahara desert while taking in the timeless view of the sand dunes and surrounding landscape.

With your camera, capture the magnificent sunset from the top of a tall dune. Following that, make your way to the camp to spend the night in your own tent, complete with breakfast and dinner, under the starry sky and Berber music while dancing around a bonfire in a nomadic camp.

Day 3

Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Watch the sunrise over the dunes when you get up early in the morning. Take a camel ride back to Merzouga, where you can eat breakfast at the Auberge. After breakfast, get ready for the next day’s studies and set out on your journey to Fes, where you will swap drivers but never the performance. It will take some time off before you knock on Fes in order to facilitate the switch to the new van.

The route takes you across the Ziz Valley through Errachidia or Ighrem n Ulzuz, which translates to Ksar Essouk. You will pause in Midelt to satisfy the hunger of your travel spirit before continuing on to the Middle Atlas Mountains and the pine woods’ jewels, Imouzzar and Ifran, which are referred to as “Little Switzerland” in Morocco.
